Heat Stress

Most feedlot managers well recognise the use of the "Cattle Heat Load Toolbox" web site for tracking heat stress.  The web site delivers predictions of the heat load index and accumulated heat load.

While the web site is well promoted by MLA and Katestone what is not well known is that all the algorithms were developed by Mr Ryan Petrov and Dr Simon Lott. They lead the in depth field research on feedlot microclimate studies and the assessment of animal heat load balances.
